The newest members have been added to the roster for the Dallas, TX-based interior architectural and design firm that specializes in luxury hospitality design.
Alison and Amanda bring with them a wealth of design expertise and knowledge, and will be responsible for strengthening the firm’s growing presence.
After serving as project director of Paul Duesing Partners for the past four years, Alison joins the firm with a broad range of experience designing luxury hotels, resorts, high-rise condos, country clubs, restaurants and spas.
For waldrop+nichols studio, she will be involved in all phases of design and production, leveraging her ability to develop client relationships in addition to managing projects to ensure that the firm’s design intent is carried out from the start of a project through completion. She will also be overseeing all marketing and business development initiatives while managing brand standards both internally and externally.
Amanda comes to the firm having served as director of design for Streetlights Residential, where she led an interior design team for the luxury multifamily developer for almost three years.
Now with waldrop+nichols studio, she will lead the firm’s team building initiatives, oversee scheduling and budgets, while setting standards for project documentation and processes. Amanda’s diverse architectural and interior design experience allows her to better understand project and client needs from beginning to end.
Both Alison and Amanda share an admiration for Reggi Nichols, RID, IIDA, Founding Principal/President, and Andrea Waldrop, Vice President, waldrop+nichols studio. “They are smart, thoughtful, mythological, and talented visionaries,” explains Alison. “waldrop+nichols studio is the type of firm where you can grow roots, help be a part of the next vision, and take ownership of the lifestyle we project.”
