Vincent Billiard has been appointed Regional Vice President, Central and North Europe to support Rosewood Hotels and Resorts’ European expansion. This new position is in addition to his role as Managing Director of Hôtel de Crillon, a position he has held since January 2020.
Vincent Billiard will put his extensive experience to good use, supervising not only the group’s Parisian ultra-luxe hotel but also Rosewood Hotels and Resorts’ hotels in London (UK), Munich (Germany) and Vienna (Austria) as well as the two new openings planned for Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Schloss Fuschl (Austria), both opening later this year.
“I am delighted and honoured to be able to continue contributing to Rosewood’s European expansion. Working in close collaboration with the teams, I am confident that my international experience in the luxury hotel sector will enable me to support, guide and advance the pursuit of excellence within our properties,” says Vincent Billiard.
Originally from Paris, he graduated from the EHL Hospitality Business School before joining the Ritz-Carlton group in 2003. For the next 15 years he progressed within the group in a variety of posts in the USA, Cayman Islands, Tokyo, Osaka and other destinations in Asia.
In 2013 he became the Ritz-Carlton group’s youngest General Manager, his first appointment at that level, and in 2016 he joined the Bulgari Shanghai Hotel & Residences as General Manager, with responsibility for the property’s opening strategy, positioning and management, before becoming Hotel General Manager of the St. Regis Singapore in 2019.
Returning to Paris, Vincent Billiard was appointed as General Manager of Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, in January 2020. Under his direction, the iconic Parisian property has developed its exclusive offering and unique experiences that are synonymous with a luxury lifestyle and the French art de vivre, winning numerous international awards including joining the select list of hotels celebrated in the inaugural World’s 50 Best Hotels in 2023.
