The Chancery Rosewood has announced the appointment of Jessica Tapfar as Hotel Manager, Kate Bowen as Director of Rooms, Martin Molloy as Director of Engineering and Massimiliano Ziano as Director of Culinary.

Developed by renowned real estate developer Qatari Diar Europe LLP, the Grade II listed building is being imagined as a new retail destination and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® luxury hotel. These key appointments underscore the hotel’s commitment to excellence and its mission to deliver an unparalleled guest experience when it opens its doors in 2025.
Jessica Tapfar, Hotel Manager
Jessica Tapfar joins The Chancery Rosewood with an extensive background in hospitality management. Previously serving as the Hotel Director at The Ned City of London, Jessica was instrumental in overseeing the hotel’s daily operations and ensuring its profitability. Her career also includes notable roles as Director of Operations at both The Waldorf Astoria in New York and the Waldorf Astoria in the Netherlands, showcasing her ability to lead and excel in luxury hotel environments.
Kate Bowen, Director of Rooms
Kate Bowen brings a wealth of experience to her role as Director of Rooms. She joins from Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, a Belmond Hotel, where she served as Director of Operations. Kate’s impressive career also includes her position as Director of Guest Experience at The Dorchester Hotel, demonstrating her dedication to enhancing guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Martin Molloy, Director of Engineering
With over 35 years of engineering expertise, Martin Molloy takes on the role of Director of Engineering at The Chancery Rosewood. Martin has managed engineering developments at renowned properties such as Raffles The Palm Dubai, Atlantis The Palm Dubai, and One&Only Royal Mirage Dubai. Most recently, he was the Director of Engineering at Bulgari Hotel, London, where he ensured the highest standards of engineering excellence.
Massimiliano Ziano, Director of Culinary
Director of Culinary, Massimiliano Ziano brings a distinguished 30-year culinary career to The Chancery Rosewood. His experience spans five-star hotels including The Peninsula in London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, as well as the Park Hyatt in Seoul and Saigon, and the Grand Hyatt in Shanghai, Singapore, and Jakarta. Massimiliano is renowned for his focus on quality, creativity, and building strong customer relationships through his culinary artistry.
Located in the prestigious neighbourhood of Mayfair, The Chancery Rosewood will balance the rich history of the iconic building with contemporary comforts prioritised by today’s luxury traveller, the hotel will showcase architecture restoration by British architect Sir David Chipperfield of David Chipperfield Architects and interiors by French architect Joseph Dirand. Upon completion, The Chancery Rosewood will deliver Rosewood’s iconic residential atmosphere through 144 thoughtfully designed guestrooms and suites, as well as revitalised public spaces and ten restaurants and bars. Additional amenities and facilities consist of an integrated Asaya wellness facility, retail outlets and a selection of meeting and events spaces including a spacious ballroom. The hotel will mark Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ second property in London and sixth in Europe.
