Architecture and interior design practice, DV8 Designs, is celebrating its seventh anniversary this year. Since establishing in 2006, the team, led by MD Lee Birchall, has built up an impressive and diverse portfolio, which includes residential, bars, restaurants, hotels, leisure centres, swimming pools, spas, golf clubs and offices.
“As a company, we have been fortunate enough to have designed and delivered just about every kind of building you can imagine, from £20,000 projects to those totalling an impressive £35m,” says Lee.
“I think we are increasingly challenging and imaginative, but we also pride ourselves on being unpretentious and fun. Thanks to factors like this, we are now expanding our presence in a big way and also getting an increasing number of clients from outside the North-west.”
Earlier this year, Lee made the decision to open a second office in London to help cater for increasing demand.
“We are probably in the best position we have ever been in,” he says. “We’ve worked with such a variety of different clients and I’m proud to say that we have a portfolio that includes the likes of Hydes Brewery, Trust Inns, PepsiCo and Butlins, to name just a few.”
