Rosewood Hotel Group has appointed Hoss Vetry regional vice president and managing director of Rosewood Hong Kong. In his new role, Vetry will be responsible for managing the ultra-luxury property in addition to overseeing other Group hotels in the region including Rosewood Beijing, Rosewood Sanya and New World Millennium Hong Kong.
A seasoned hotelier, Vetry has more than 32 years of global luxury hotel experience, including 25 years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in three key regions: North America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. He held several senior executive leadership positions during his tenure including multi-property vice president, cluster general manager and hotel general manager. Previously, Vetry was general manager at The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai.
Vetry has held leadership roles in hotel and tourism associations including vice chairman of East China Marriott Business Council, executive chairman of Sanya Tourism Association and board member of Qatar Tourism Association.
