Following the success of its gilded washi wallpaper collection at Decorex 2011, Biden has developed a new type of translucent wallcovering. The innovative surface covering features a sheer base paper, and is available in a 53cm x 10m roll. The wallcoverings allow light to shine through if applied onto glass, whereas the tone of the surface is allowed to seep through if applied to walls.
Biden imports distinctive interior products, mainly from Kyoto – most of which are new to the UK. The company’s aim is to discover and develop designs evolved by artisans who remain loyal to traditional Japanese techniques.
