Performance, style and efficiency have been equally balanced in the recent refurbishment of 80 Hammersmith Road, London. The newly-renovated 30,208ft² office building features Concord‘s Concave Officelyte and LED 100 downlights throughout the open-plan space.
The building services consultant of the project, The Anslow Partnership, wanted to ensure that the lighting reflected the contemporary and stylish transformation. The Concord luminaires were the ideal choice owing to their design-led appearance and high performance. Concave Officelyte is a completely flush-recessed luminaire, allowing it to fit seamlessly into any room while providing effective light output.
The efficiency and performance of the lighting was a key factor in specifying Concave Officelyte. The product is energy efficient and incorporates an innovative micro cellular foamed polyester sheet, which is 99% reflective and diffuses 96% of the light.
The enclosed design reduces the chances of dust entering the product and improves the Luminaire Maintenance Factor. The slot-in wing design also allows for quick and simple installation, maintenance and cleaning.
The Concord LED 100 downlights have been used around the perimeter of each office space to provide decorative feature lighting. With a recess depth of just 100mm, the Concord LED 100 downlights are suitable for ceilings between 1 and 25mm in thickness. The retaining clips make the LED 100 easy to install, and with LORs of up to 74% they are an efficient and well-performing office lighting solution.
The Concord brand is part of the Havells-Sylvania Group, and has a strong manufacturing base in the UK. Concord is known for its strong design ethos, high technical performance and aesthetic form, and focuses on bringing lighting solutions to meet the needs of architects and lighting designers.
