Morpheus has appointed Charu Gandhi as its new head of design to further spearhead the company’s development as an international design house.
Charu joins Morpheus from prominent interior design firm Candy & Candy, where she was a key member of the private commissions design team. Charu was educated at the Architectural Association where she later went on to teach, before joining the London office of Allies and Morrison in 2006. During her time there, Charu worked on a number of premium hotel and spa projects across Asia and the UAE. Her work has also included the masterplan for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Charu brings a blend of architectural expertise, a passion for interior design and a focused approach to business development to her new role at Morpheus. She will lead the design team in order to build on the successful 20-year brand history of the company.
Charu says: “I am thrilled to be joining such an established and successful team and I look forward to securing new and interesting projects in the UK and overseas. Morpheus matches my ambition of wanting to deliver the very best-in-class design services to our clients.”
