Europe’s largest laminate and wood panel manufacturer, Egger, has appointed Maninder Choda as specification account manager in its decorative distribution team.
Maninder will have specific responsibility for architects and interior designers in the Greater London area – the first time that the company has had a dedicated account manager based in the capital.
Maninder’s appointment will help to consolidate Egger’s status as an increasingly major player in this market sector. Following a recent decision to increase laminate stockholding at its panel production plant in North East England, Egger will make efforts to grow its market share in laminates, melamine-faced chipboard, MDF and ABS edgings, supplied through distributors that have also increased their stockholdings of these decorative products.
Maninder joins Egger from Kvadrat – a leading European supplier of contemporary high quality textiles and textile-related products – where she managed a portfolio of architects, designers and specifiers working on hospitality, retail and office projects.
“Egger has given me a new opportunity to work with a well renowned brand as well as a fantastic portfolio of products,” Marinder comments. I’m looking forward to being part of a successful and established specification team and helping to grow Egger’s project portfolio.”
