Z Hotels, the boutique-budget hotel group with compact accommodation in city-centre locations, has called on Beacon to become its purchasing partner for its portfolio of hotels across the UK, with two new properties due to launch in late May.
After placing its first order within 24 hours of meeting the Beacon team, Z Hotels appointed the company – which helps businesses in the hospitality sector grow their profitability – to handle the procurement of products including food, drink and consumables, with a specific focus on the launch of two new hotels in May.
“The service from Beacon has been second to none since we first made contact with the team,” says Russell Bodycomb, Director at Z Hotels. “It’s an exciting time for us at Z Hotels as we are gearing up to launch our first Scottish property in Glasgow and our third London property in Piccadilly after the success of our current properties in Liverpool, London Victoria and London Soho.
“Following an enlightening conversation with one of the Beacon team, we now have a better understanding of the new waste regulations in Scotland, which we need to adhere to at our Glasgow site – that’s what makes Beacon a true partner when it comes to purchasing and procurement, the team is always thinking of the bigger picture.”
Natasha Svenson, New Business Manager at Beacon, comments: “Z Hotels is offering something truly unique within the hospitality sector, and it is fantastic to be working with such an exciting new hotel group, with upcoming launches across the UK.
“We have been able to offer the team at Z Hotels peace of mind when it comes to our service, with added benefits including the UCA and Central Billing – all of which mean that by working with Beacon, customers can save not only money, but time too. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Z Hotels, and supporting the group with its procurement needs during this exciting time for the business.”
