Specifiers and resellers can now touch, feel and walk on the best of Krono Original flooring trends with the launch of a new UK showroom.
From its carefully researched and reproduced woodgrains to on-trend imitation stone surfaces, Kronospan has created a research and meeting space within its North Wales manufacturing unit to highlight its flooring textures and finishes.
As well as featuring key Krono Original products – like the hand-scraped Vintage and tough Krono Xtreme ranges – the showroom also displays an elite selection of complementary surface trends taken from Kronospan’s worktop and surface decor ranges. This selection represents the newest global design styling and market intelligence.
Michael Dineen, sales director for Kronospan, says: “The new showroom is a hands-on, reference library for specifiers, designers, fitters and hardware retailers. Basically we want our customers to experience our range ‘in-the-flesh’ but also to be inspired by our trend advice.
“We’re constantly globe hopping, tracking down insight into future interior styles and this space allows us to showcase products that represent our latest trend intelligence and the most popular surfaces. It’s relaxed, comfortable and encourages creativity – and the feedback from customers so far has been fantastic.”
Decor ranges like Vintage demand a hands-on approach to specification. The authentic hand-sculpted-effect planks and natural woodgrain patterns have to be experienced to be appreciated. Showroom visitors can discover a carefully-worked collection that includes Appalachian Hickory (8155), Red River Hickory (8156), Smoky Mountain Hickory (8157), Olympus Hickory (8158), White Lacquered Hickory (101), Antique Chestnut (5535), Rushmore Chestnut (5536), Tawny Chestnut (5537), Nova Scotia Chestnut (5538) and Bakersfield Chestnut (5539).
Developed to endure the harshest conditions, Krono Xtreme can be used in wet rooms or saunas but its beautiful on-trend designs mean the decors are perfect for any setting. The four decorative wood and stone designs include Minnesota Oak (5931), Jacksonville Oak (5932), St Louis Oak (5933), Savanna Robinia (4293), Kalahari (5342), and Basalt Slate (8099).
