The latest phase of a multi-million pound development at one of the North East’s leading hotels has now been completed.
Ramside Hall Hotel near Durham has just opened its new wing of bedrooms, which features 47 premier rooms with luxury, state-of-the-art bathrooms.
The new bedrooms can be configured as either doubles or twins, some of which have Juliet balconies with views over Ramside’s championship golf course. The wing also includes two family rooms and two junior suites, with a luxury Presidential suite set to be available in the near future.
All of the new rooms have luxury bathrooms with a walk-in shower and free standing baths, and are furnished with Hypnos beds – favoured by Royalty and widely regarded as the most comfortable beds in the world. The hotel has also totally refurbished its residents lounge and its main reception area.
“The new wing is the latest stage of the multi million pound investment at Ramside Hall,” says owner, John Adamson. “The accommodation is of the highest standard and is all part of our plan to make Ramside Hall a destination in its own right.” Rooms in the new wing start from £139 a night.
The wing is part of a £16m development at the hotel, which will be completed when the Spa at Ramside opens this summer and will see Ramside Hall becoming one of the most exciting leisure attractions in the region.
The state-of-the-art facilities includes a 25m pool, a vitality pool, external infinity pool and a spa garden along with a variety of steam rooms, saunas and a Rasul mud chamber.
It also includes a gym, aerobics and dance studio, hair salon, Asian restaurant and bar and 14 treatment rooms using ESPA products.
