Bespoke Hotels has announced that it will be taking over the management of The Grosvenor Estate’s Chester Grosvenor Hotel, with effect from 13th April 2015.
This new arrangement follows the retirement of Jonathan Slater, who was managing director of The Chester Grosvenor for more than 30 years, at the end of March.
“Bespoke is proud to be working with the Grosvenor Estate and representing The Chester Grosvenor,” says Haydn Fentum, chairman of Bespoke Hotels. “Our team will ensure there is no change in the superb service guests can expect from the hotel and their stay. At the same time we expect to see the business of the Chester Grosvenor benefit from the operational and marketing expertise Bespoke brings, particularly with regards to the Bespoke network of hotels, as well as The Chester Grosvenor’s stylish little sister property, The Hotel Gotham, which has just opened in Manchester.”
Speaking from the Grosvenor Estate, Executive Trustee Jeremy Newsum, says: “We are pleased that Bespoke Hotels will continue to maintain the service for which The Chester Grosvenor is known and we look forward to a positive long term relationship with the group.”
Visitors and guests at the hotel will continue to receive a high standard at The Chester Grosvenor. The same quality food and ambience will remain at its Brasserie and Michelin stared Simon Radley fine dining restaurant, while the hotel itself will still be owned by the family of the Duke of Westminster.
