The Fine Bedding Company is revealing another UK first at the Independent Hotel Show with Sonic Seam, an innovation in the manufacture of hotel duvets and pillows which uses exclusive ultra-sonic technology to produce extra durable contract standard bedding of the finest possible quality.
Sonic Seam ‘merges’ fabric layers together to create a threadless seam which will not fray, create bulky joins, or leave loose or running threads. This advanced sonic technology offers the aesthetic appeal of traditional bound finishing with the added advantage that the bedding retains its premium finish even after heavy use and repeated washing. Sonic Seam technology will be introduced to the market in 2016.
The Fine Bedding Company will also showcase an extended range of hotel bedding including: a new highly breathable duvet which contains naturally-derived modal fibres that are smooth, soft and highly absorbent to offer excellent moisture wicking and climate control properties; new natural duvets including duck feather and down and goose feather and down options, plus the ultimate in natural innovation, a softened duck feather topper for an extra luxurious night’s sleep.
Loved by housekeepers, hoteliers and guests alike, The Fine Bedding Company’s exclusive Smartfil range of luxury duvets and pillows will also be available at the Show. The bedding contains tiny Smartfil, fibres which are free flowing and silky soft, shaping to the contours of the body for maximum comfort.
