Acclaimed interior designer, David d’Almada, is behind the newly refurbished Sartoria restaurant, set to open on Savile Row this November.
Having recently worked on projects such as The Arts Club in Mayfair and The Norman boutique hotel in Tel Aviv, David d’Almada’s wished to capture the glamour and romance of Italy in its 20th century hey day. The refurbishment will see the addition of a new bar and cicchetti counter, three private dining rooms as well as a 250-bottle wine cellar where sommelier Michael Simms, will host dinners and wine tastings.
A new entrance on Savile Row will be created to re-establish Sartoria’s presence on this iconic street and will open up to the bar and restaurant, featuring luxurious textures of silk, velvet and leather throughout. A rich palette of oxblood, soft grey and walnut matched with antique nickel and copper will exude cosy elegance and warmth with a splash of gentleman dandy style. The new outside terrace will be open all year round, to relax and watch the Mayfair world go round.
