Jumeirah Emirates Towers has replaced Mosaico with new interactive global dining restaurant, Mundo.
Sleek and vibrant with an energetic, youthful edge, the 142-seat, lobby-level restaurant celebrates four distinct flavours and cooking styles: Mediterranean, Arabic, Indian and Asian.
“Mundo is an exciting addition to our more classical, specialised culinary experiences,” says Sven Wiedenhaupt, general manager, Jumeirah Emirates Towers. “It represents a completely new dining concept for the property. Refreshing and accessible, the restaurant is an interactive dining destination in the centre of Dubai’s commercial business district that appeals to all.
“By combining multiple culinary influences, Mundo will evoke a powerful emotional response with our guests. We want the food to rekindle memories of home. Mundo is new but familiar; it is classic yet reassuring.”
Head Chef, Ewart Wardhaugh, says: “the live cooking stations add an element of performance to dining at Mundo. It’s an interaction that transforms the conventional ‘buffet only’ interpretation of the all-day dining concept. Our mission is to engage diners in a sophisticated yet theatrical experience that redefines a classic genre.”
