Red’s True Barbecue is set to initiate its goal of 20 sites by 2020, with plans in motion to open a £900,000 site in Sheffield this April.
The new restaurant will be housed in the former Cafe Rouge site on 383-385 Ecclesall Road. Spanning 5400 square feet, the venue be a 130-cover, split-level restaurant, complete with a bar and stage area for live music.
This comes just weeks after the business secured £9m in funding to open 8-10 smokehouses across the UK.
At present, the restaurant group operates five restaurants across North England, as well as a site in Shoreditch.
