Omar Garcia has joined the Studio 11 Design team as a senior architectural project designer.
Prior to this appointment, Omar worked for just over a decade at Wilson Associates, where rose to senior project architect, and headed up luxury hospitality projects for the likes of Ritz Carlton, St. Regis and Marriott everywhere from Dallas to Macau.
Omar Garcia has a Masters in Architecture from The University of Texas at Arlington and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Texas Tech University. He also holds certificates from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the AIA, and is an active member of the AIA Dallas. Additionally, Omar has mastered both Imperial and Metric systems and is fluent in Spanish, skills very useful for Studio 11’s gradual international expansion.
Omar brings a unique set of skills to Studio 11, ranging from his expertise with large scale space planning down to his eye for minute design details. At Studio 11, he plans to push the envelope on project design by enhancing the fun, colorful elements the firm is known for with thoughtful architectural aesthetics.
