Following extensive refurbishment, The Victoria Inn, based in vibrant Peckham, re-opens in October.
The historic 19th century pub with rooms, which first opened in 1878, has been given a contemporary refresh while still keeping its heritage feel.
The stylish mix of old and new is seen throughout with original period details remaining, such as the horse shoe bar, while the guestrooms take a more modern approach with new Scandinavian-inspired interiors.
The newly re-opened Victoria Inn will remain a spot for locals to enjoy good traditional pub fare as well as a new hidden gem for those visiting London and the dynamic area of Peckham.
“We are delighted to bring The Victoria Inn back to its former glory as a relaxed and friendly pub in which to enjoy a beer or a comforting meal in our beautifully refurbished restaurant,” says general manager, Joe Sheasgreen. “With fifteen stylish guestrooms we want to celebrate the vibrancy of Peckham and showcase the area to our resident guests as well as remaining a firm favourite with locals.
We are extremely excited to open our doors to the Peckham community and beyond.”
