Founded by restaurateur, Vic Singh, and executive chef, Pratap Chahal, the newly launched 2,560 square foot restaurant is situated in the heart of Soho at 63-64 Frith Street.
Taking inspiration from different cuisines and cultures, the debut restaurant offers a self-described ‘cuisine-agnostic’ menu curated by Pratap.
The interior, designed by AfroditiKrassa, is inspired by the work of Italian architect Carlo Scarpa and includes a 20-seater bronze bar.
“Flavour Bastard were looking for a quirky site in Soho to launch their concept and create an exciting dining experience, which is why we showed them the Arbutus site,” comments Leo Feldman, partner at Shelley Sandzer.
“Arbutus was an institution in Soho and we hope that Flavour Bastard can experience as much success on Frith Street as their predecessors.”
This opening follows recent deals that Shelley Sandzer have been involved in, including a UK debut for NRI by Atul Kochhar at The Mailbox in Birmingham, and two Michelin star Hong Kong restaurant, Duddell’s, making its UK debut at St Thomas’ Church in London Bridge.
