More than 180 architects and designers from world-recognised practices joined for a discussion on architecture in the age of digital representation, introduced by GROHE CEO Michael Rauterkus and Architecture Director Sabine Gotthard.
Special guest speakers included Patrik Schumacher of Zaha Hadid Architects, Christopher Ingenhoven of Ingenhoven Architects and Paul Finch from the World Architectural Festival (WAF).
“The motivation behind the Dialogue Series is to facilitate broader thinking in the industry. As a worldwide partner to architect and design practices, significant shifts in the way the industry operates is very important to GROHE,” says Glynn Payne, Head of Projects at GROHE UK.
“Some exciting developments and thought-provoking concepts were discussed on the night and we look forward to announcing another event in due course.”
Under the theme of “The convergence of analogue and digital: Architecture in the age of digital representation”, the first GROHE Dialogue Series explored how digitisation is transforming all industries, including architecture, and how this development will have a tremendous impact on how future buildings are designed and used.
