The Geejam Collection, owned by music industry veterans Jon Baker and Steve Beaver, has announced the launch of 12 new Rhumba Studio rooms to its iconic resort collection.
Located on six acres of lush San San Estate, the Geejam Collection is comprised of three signature properties, including the Geejam Hotel featuring Sanwood Villa and two private villas – Cocosan and Panorama.
The 12 new Rhumba Studios realise Jon Baker and Steve Beaver’s vision of providing guests with a true Jamaican cultural experience and creative haven. Designed by young Caribbean design team, Atelier-Vidal, each suite features soothing white and wood design details which blend seamlessly with the wild Jamaican landscape.
The Rhumba Studios offer ground floor and sea view options which both extend across more than 650 square feet. All Studios overlook the Jamaican rainforest and boast outstanding sea views of the crystal, turquoise waters.
As part of the new developments, Geejam Collection’s renowned Bushbar has also undergone a complete restoration and expansion. The addition of an infinity pool perched in the rainforest, a new live stage with DJ booth and new seating area, achieves a stylish equilibrium between ultra modern technology and natural vibes of the surrounding island landscape.
A brand-new function and events area will also be created, including a restaurant and bar, surrounded by cabanas overlooking Frenchman’s Cove, Cocoa Bay and Geejam’s private beach.
