This festive season, Twinkle Town will be coming to Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, with a curated programme of creative Christmas workshops from Wednesday 8th to Friday 10th December 2021.
Practical demonstrations and hands-on workshops will be on offer, with stylish ways to personalise presents, make handmade decorations, decorate a gingerbread house or make a Christmas stocking.
Expert advice on decking your home or planning seasonal table centrepieces will be available, with sessions on modern calligraphy, present wrapping and talks with star names including Jane Churchill, Emily Astor, Joanna Wood and florists Rebel Rebel, alongside design tours and a Twinkle pop-up shop.
While on site, view the ‘Twinkle Town’ Christmas decorations. This year’s evocative scenes will be the perfect reminder of Christmas at home. In a palette of winter whites, miniature houses have been lovingly handcrafted to give a taste of traditional life.
With evocative window scenes they will give glowing glimpses of cosy settings within. There will be trees dusted with powdery snow, nostalgic touches of fairy lights, snowflakes and stars, while candy canes, snowmen and characters from ‘The Nutcracker’ add to the enchanting atmosphere.
Capturing the magic of Christmas, ‘Together at Twinkle Town’ promises to engage, inspire and bring seasonal good cheer.
Tickets for sessions will be £5 each (wreath making with Rebel Rebel is £50) and proceeds will go to help a deserving charity. ‘Together at Twinkle Town’ will be in aid of Place2Be, a children’s mental health charity with over 25 years’ experience working with pupils, families and staff in UK schools.
