Prominent furniture fittings and systems specialist, Blum, recently exhibited its latest innovations at Sicam in Pordenone, Italy. Clip top Blumotion, Blum’s innovative hinge solution, received great interest from visitors. The product has all the components needed for effortless closing integrated into the hinge, which is available in a variety of styles. New at the show was Clip top Blumotion with an opening angle of 107°.
Visitors also showed enthusiasm for Blum’s diverse programme of lift systems, which includes a comprehensive range specially designed for wall cabinets. New at Sicam was the Aventos HK-XS stay lift, which is ideal for installations above refrigerators and larder units.
Blum’s programme of lift systems also features Aventos HF for bi-fold fronts; Aventos HS for large fronts – also with cornice and crown mouldings; Aventos HL to conceal electrical appliances; and Aventos HK and Aventos HK-S for modern stay lifts. Aventos HF bi-fold lift system is a new option for mitred and rebated applications.
Blum’s Servo-Drive electric opening system allows for easy opening and closing of wall cabinets thanks to Blumotion. The Aventos HK and the new Aventos HK-S stay lifts are also available with the Tip-On mechanical opening system for enhanced opening convenience for handleless fronts.
Movento is Blum’s concealed runner system for wooden drawers and pull-outs, and excels in terms of motion and four-dimensional adjustment ease. Movento can now also be mounted to the cabinet base.
Thanks to synchronisation, Movento produces a smooth glide and top-quality motion. In addition to height, side and tilt adjustment, gaps can be precisely and simply aligned without tools with the new depth adjustment feature.
Movento is available with the Blumotion or Tip-On opening systems, and is available for load-bearing capacities of 40 and 60kg.
Blum’s new base mounting allows Movento runners to be flexibly positioned and mounted directly to the cabinet base. The base-mounted Movento delivers the same high-quality motion and adjustment ease as the model for standard mounting.
Blum’s elegant Legrabox pure system will be launched in the UK next year. The box system boasts a sleek and straight-cut design, and offers top-quality motion and individual freedom of design.
Legrabox’s drawer sides are slim at 12.8mm. The elegance of Legrabox is underlined by the use of fine materials – such as stainless steel with anti-fingerprint coating, and steel with matt coatings in various colours.
Legrabox offers a synchronised, feather-light glide for a smooth running action and dynamic load bearing capacities of 40 and 70kg. Blumotion ensures that Legrabox closes softly and effortlessly, and Blum’s existing Servo-Drive and Tip-on opening systems provide enhanced opening ease.
Ambia-Line, the inner dividing system for Legrabox, comprises two programme lines. The first consists of epoxy-coated steel frames in various colours, and the second is a combination of steel and selected wood decors. A magnet – for attachment to the back of pull-outs or to the sides of other frames – makes handling simple and intuitive.
Furthermore, Blum has developed a solution for narrow cabinets. Diagonally-fitted runners produce greater side stability than runners mounted to one side, and can withstand loads of 20kg per base unit. In addition, only one set of runners is needed per base unit.
All components stem from Blum’s existing product range. Diagonally-fitted runners can be implemented with the Tandembox and Legrabox box systems, as well as with the Tandem and Movento runner systems for wooden drawers and pull-outs.
