Located in the iconic 50-storey One Canada Square building in the heart of Canary Wharf, the new One Canada Square restaurant offers a luxurious and modern dining experience. Operated by ETM Group, the restaurant and cocktail bar features interiors designed by David Collins Studio and lighting by Dernier & Hamlyn.
David Collins Studio’s design concept was to take the existing fabric of the building and combine its bold use of austere marble with a softer aesthetic, complemented by classic brassiere details. Dernier & Hamlyn brought this concept to life thanks to its awe-inspiring, polished chrome chandeliers, which feature circular glass panels underneath. Each fitting measures over 2m in circumference and has 15 LED lamps.
Tom Martin, co-founder of ETM Group, says: “This venue is fast becoming the eating and drinking epicentre of Canary Wharf, and the ambience created by the interior design and lighting is a fundamental part of its popularity.”
Dernier & Hamlyn joint managing director, Jeremy Quantrill, adds: “The light fittings for One Canada Square are stunning. We love working on interesting projects like this that bring new challenges and produce fantastic results.”
