Clerkenwell-based designer Jennifer Newman specialises in powder-coated aluminium furniture for the hotel, restaurant and wider hospitality sectors. At Clerkenwell Design Week in May, Jennifer gained wide acclaim for her new inside and outside M-Table and M-Bench.
The elegant range of solid bamboo table surfaces on aluminium frames – with matching aluminium benches – have been taken up by a range of restaurant chains, including Wahaca in London. The ability to incorporate company colours into the furniture, together with attractive sustainable surfaces, appears to be a winner. The M-Benches are available in all-aluminium and the newly-introduced solid bamboo. Soft cushions can also be supplied.
Jennifer Newman products offer a high level of customisation, making them popular with specifiers and architects. They can be specified to a particular size, and the powder-coating comes in any RAL colour. The M-Tables and M-Benches have recently been installed in a large outside terrace of a Warsaw hotel, which specified the furniture in a range of complementary colours.
Jennifer Newman also offers a bespoke service, which is useful if the existing product range does not match customer needs exactly. The studio’s design team can advise and oversee the production of a bespoke product from initial ideas and drawings right through to delivery. Jennifer Newman products are ideal for adding individuality and flair to hospitality projects.
