Kährs‘ entire range of wood floors has been voted ‘Hardwood Flooring Product of the Year’ for the thirteenth time in the 2014 CFJ/CFA Flooring Industry Awards.
Industry Awards. Sponsored jointly by the Contract Flooring Association and Contract Flooring Journal, the annual awards include 17 categories, with votes for winners registered in an independent CFJ readers’ ballot. The prestigious accolade was presented at a luncheon hosted at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, which was attended by 50 leading industry figures.
Renowned for its quality and performance, Kährs wood flooring range offers over 140 different design options, in numerous wood species and patterns; many featuring on-trend coloured finishes and striking surface treatments. All floors feature Kährs multi-layered construction, based on the original ‘parquet’ design invented and patented by Kährs in 1941.
As well as providing greater stability, the construction method also uses resources in the most nature-friendly way. During installation, Kährs glueless Woodloc joint promotes speed and accuracy, and eliminates gapping throughout the lifetime of the floor.
New designs for 2014 include additions to Kährs’ Classic Nouveau and Artisan collections, in on-trend white, grey and deep-toned chocolate hues. All floors feature a variety of handcrafted finishing treatments – including handscraping, brushing, sawing and bevelled edges.
