SaphirKeramik is a new lightweight material that is completely unique to Laufen. Bringing innovations in terms of the physical properties that can be created with ceramic, the material enables designs to be achieved that were previously deemed only suitable for solid-surface pieces.
SaphirKeramik allows for fixtures to be thin and half the weight of traditional ceramics – enabling the production of easy-to-clean ceramic basins in larger sizes than previously possible, for greater flexibility in hotel bathroom design.
