Lyndon Design is looking to turn heads again at this year’s prestigious 100% Design exhibition with a bigger and better presence, as it unveils collaborations with award-winning furniture designers, Mark Gabbertas and David Fox, along with new striking seating collections designed in-house.
Taking centre stage is luxury dining furniture collection, Okki, which has been designed by David Fox, the British designer behind Boss Design’s iconic Kruze chair. Incorporating an upholstered chair and co-ordinating dining table, Okki’s smooth curves and simple lines ideally reflect David’s elegant and harmonic design philosophy. The European oak timber used for the underframe of this collection demonstrates Lyndon Design’s prowess in handcrafting timber, and gives this product an exquisite finish.
Also being exhibited is Mark Gabbertas’ Han dining chair collection, which was launched in Milan this year. Boasting a rectilinear shape and flexible finish options, Han is designed to appeal to a wide variety of design environments, including corporate dining and a range of hospitality settings. Made in expertly handcrafted timber, Han consists of an exceptional structure, incorporating hidden metal tenons for rigorous support.
Alongside the dining ranges, Lyndon Design will be launching a soft-seating collection for the corporate environment, along with a modular option to its flagship Orten sofa.
Tim Armitt, MD at Lyndon Design comments: “We are excited to be growing our presence at 100% Design this year, showcasing our fantastic collaborations with leading British designers and reflecting the very latest seating design trends in our new collections.
“100% Design provides the perfect platform to demonstrate our unique and exceptional mix of timber manufacturing capabilities and design vision. With seating on show that meets a wide range of needs from office break-out spaces to corporate dining, we want to trumpet the incredible versatility of the Lyndon Design offering.”
