Designed by Broome Jenkins, the contemporary Meet-U table system is built to exacting standards in Burgess Furniture‘s London factory, and has been awarded the Design Guild Mark from The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers. The award recognises and rewards excellence in the design of furniture in volume production.
Carefully designed with the user in mind, a variety of top shapes including rectangles, squares, triangles and quadrants link to form the ideal layout for any meeting room environment. The full range of tables can be further enhanced by bridging units, minimising the number of table legs needed and so allowing more people to sit in comfort around the table layout.
An integral rotating corner plate, neatly concealed within the frame, supports the bridge tops – allowing for bridge tops to be used on two adjacent sides of the table simultaneously. The bridge top is cost effective and requires less storage space.
A neatly designed channel on the underside of the table allows insertion of a multi-function clip that can be used to secure and support a modesty panel, link tables and can support power cables in the form of a cable tidy.
Tailor-made to the customer’s specific choice of frame and top finish, the lightweight Meet-U design incorporates a choice of MFC or High Pressure Laminate tops and 21 colour and finish combinations. Each table comes with adjustable feet to ensure stability on any floor surface, or as an optional extra, castors can be fitted allowing for easy movement around a room or venue.
