21st-23rd May 2013 marked Morgan‘s third appearance at Clerkenwell Design Week. A key theme that widened the appeal for visitors was a blurring of the line between workplace and hospitality products on display. Alongside additions to the Modena collection – namely a compact lounge chair and sofa corner unit in order to provide versatile modularity – the focal point on the Morgan stand was a suite of swivel chairs in vibrant orange.
Located once again in the Victorian chic warehouses of the Farmiloe Building, six designs were displayed, including two new models – a Lucca lounge chair, shown both with and without arms, plus a new light Soho armchair. All were shown with the option of metal swivel bases and identical orange fabric in order to highlight the distinctive design lines of each collection.
