To meet the latest developments in kitchen design and to offer customers a diverse programme of pull-outs, Austrian fittings manufacturer, Blum, has developed three programme lines for its Tandembox box system: Tandembox plus, Tandembox antaro and Tandembox intivo. Exhibited at the recent SICAM exhibition in Italy, Tandembox antaro can now also be combined with design elements of glass or metal to produce an enclosed drawer or pull-out.
Based on Blum’s tried and tested cabinet profile, Tandembox antaro is characterised by a rectangular gallery and colour-co-ordinated fittings components. Tandembox antaro is offered in the same colours as those of Tandembox intivo, which include silk white, terra black, stainless steel and white aluminium.
Design elements constructed from glass or metal can be attached to the back with a connector, and to the front (between drawer side and gallery) with a transparent bracket, holder or connector. Assembly is tool free, so an enclosed drawer or pull-out can be produced quickly and simply. This new option can be retrofitted, resulting in more design scope for manufacturers.
Box systems from Blum close softly and effortlessly with integrated soft-close Blumotion. Full extensions give users maximum visibility and direct access to items in drawers and pull-outs. The diverse programme provides solutions for a wide range of applications and is simple to assemble and easy to adjust. All system components such as cabinet profiles and back panels are the same for all Tandembox programme lines.
For enhanced opening ease, Blum’s electric opening system, Servo-Drive, can be fitted with all three programme lines. Drawers and pull-outs equipped with Servo-Drive glide open at a single touch. Another option is Tip-On, Blum’s mechanical system for easy opening.
