For SS23 Lincrusta launch modern geometric ‘Trellis’. This incredibly versatile pattern is inspired by the intricately glazed doors of London’s most revered 18th century furniture makers.
Lincrusta is a natural wallcovering, made from linseed oil, manufactured in the UK, using the same time-honoured craftsmanship as when it was invented in 1877. With its unrivalled emboss, it can be used to introduce texture to a space, not only on the walls, but to any surface, including ceilings, bars, headboards, doors, and furniture to name but a few. It is delivered in its natural colour and is a blank canvas to be painted to suit any scheme or enhanced by paint effects to add drama.
Teamed here with Mylands ‘Rothschild Street’ paint to create an inviting lounge. The bar itself is enveloped in Lincrusta ‘Cordage’ wallcovering and painted in Mylands ‘Duke’s House’.
This lattice work pattern is also reminiscent of the architectural structures found in gardens to support or display foliage. In the ongoing design to bring the outdoors inside to our interior spaces, ‘Trellis’ works well in combination with the company’s foliage designs ‘Palm’ and ‘Tropical Leaf’.
Modern geometry meets 18th Century design. A future classic in the making.
