YNL Architects were appointed as the design architect for the new Jinya Ramen franchise in Houston, Texas.
The firm proposed a design that combined modernity, traditionalism and elegance. Efficient and comfortable, the project cleanly expresses the brand and the image of the Japanese noodle chain.
Showcasing craftsmanship was a primary element of this process, and coupling this spectrum with a warm color scheme expresses a rustic and traditional atmosphere.
In lieu of the bland choice of drywall, traditional Japanese stucco walls and rustic wood finishes were selected to create a more authentic dining experience.
The modern design elements, such as the exposed ceiling and flooring, offer a visual contrast while maintaining a balanced budget and a more durable and easy maintain restaurant.
