G.A Design has recently added further awards to its trophy room with three wins in the past month.
At the prestigious International Property Awards, held last week in Dubai, G.A Design took home Best International Hotel Interior for St. Regis Osaka, a great success following on from its win at September’s Asia Pacific awards.
At the European Hotel Design Awards, the company won Best Café Bar/All Day Dining for The Rosebery Room at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park; an elegant tea room by day and Champagne bar by night that one judge described as “an energetic revival of a historic space that exudes energy”.
At the Gold Key Awards in New York, G.A Design won Best Upscale Hotel for Hilton Bomonti in Istanbul adding their win earlier this year with the Hilton Bomonti at the Gecce Venue Oscars.
These awards bring the total for 2014 to seven, with a further five shortlisted nominations.
In recent years, G.A Design has been responsible for Corinthia Hotel London, W in Taipei and the St. Regis in Osaka. 2014 saw the business rebrand as G.A Design, previously G.A Design International.
Referring to the new name and branding roll-out, Terry McGinnity, Managing Director of G.A Design commented: “We are well established internationally and have always operated across the globe, a more concise name feels a better reflection of our business – clients know we are ‘international’. It is also an appropriate way to celebrate 30 years of being in business and these awards are both a great achievement and a welcome accolade for everyone who has worked so hard over the past few years.”
