Luxury Italian hotel brand, Baglioni Hotels & Resorts, is to expand its Mediterranean footprint with the opening of Baglioni Resort Sardinia this Summer.
With 78 rooms and suites, the new resort brings the brand’s timeless Italian luxury to the Mediterranean island for the first time. Set within Tavolara marina, a protected natural landscape, the hotel melds authentic Italian luxury with the majestic and wild surroundings of Sardinia’s coastline
Guests are invited to enjoy the resort’s coveted private beach, which stretches over 1km, boasting the fine white sand and crystalline sea the region is renowned for. Meanwhile, the signature 25m pool is designed within a leafy garden, with cabanas and loungers artfully positioned for sunseekers and a cocktail and poolside menu available on request; two separate children’s pools are also on hand for younger guests.
For those looking for further rest and relaxation, the hotel’s spa will feature a Finnish sauna, steam bath, ice fountain, two sensory showers, four treatment cabins, relaxation area and Technogym fitness centre. Bedrooms and suites offer garden or sea views, showcasing the refined elegance for which Baglioni is renowned; with tasteful modern furnishings reflecting the colours of the natural surroundings.
From a culinary perspective, the signature restaurant, Gusto by Sadler, presents fine Italian dining at its light and sophisticated best. Created in collaboration with the Michelin-starred Claudio Sadler, the eatery is designed for authentic, memorable experiences. In addition, Baglioni Resort Sardinia is also home to a second Italian restaurant, Sunset Terrace Bar, and pool bar for evening and daytime apertivos.
“Sardinia is an area of incredible natural beauty, and it is an honour to bring the Baglioni Resorts brand to this special place,” comments Guido Polito, CEO of Baglioni Hotels & Resorts.
“In Baglioni Resort Sardinia, we are delighted to present a property that simultaneously brings the unique heritage and Italian luxury that Baglioni exudes to this island; whilst also offering our guests the chance to connect with the natural beauty and everything that the island has to offer.”
