The British Contract Furnishing Association (BCFA) will be exhibiting at Clerkenwell Design Week. Celebrating the design industry’s creative talent, the association will not only promote its 250 members but will also unveil a specially commissioned work inspired by the elements which make up the creative mind.
The structure, designed by BCFA member Elegant Clutter, has been inspired by the concept that the human mind is the ideal creative tool – trumping computers. It will examine how the individuality of each intellect, its emotions and ability to intuit, mark it as superior and more complex than any digital equivalent. Creating and designing for far longer than computers, it will celebrate how the human mind can touch the emotions in a way unknown by anything modelled digitally.
The BCFA is home to the biggest collective of creative brains in the industry; a total of 18,500, and it is fitting that it will celebrate this nerve centre of talent and vision in Clerkenwell, the place which is home to more creative businesses and architects per square mile than anywhere else on the planet.
The BCFA team will be also be available to speak further about the association’s members and the services it provides. Brochures and literature will be also available for visitors to take away.
