Bloomsbury Street Kitchen, a day-to-night neighbourhood restaurant and bar in the heart of London’s buzzing West End, has now opened its doors.
Embracing the relaxed art of shared dining, Bloomsbury Street Kitchen showcases an exquisite selection of contemporary Mediterranean and Japanese small plates, complemented by a diverse variety of wines, sake and signature cocktails.
The restaurant holds 74 covers, split between 60 in the main dining area, eight on a semi-private dining table and six at the chef’s counter, which offers diners the opportunity to experience the kitchen team working at a raw bar.
A lounge bar features an additional 46 covers, while the intimate outdoor garden, dotted by plants such as Mediterranean olive trees and Japanese sago palms, seats a further 16 around zinc-topped tables.
The restaurant’s interior design draws inspiration from both Mediterranean gardens and the minimalist Japanese aesthetic. Italian glazed porcelain tiles feature alongside white-washed exposed brickwork, while the more formal dining areas are separated from the internal gardens through the use of bespoke white metal and glass screens.
