D&D London has announced that its new restaurant, bar and deli situated in the City’s square mile will open on Monday 11th November.
From 120 Fenchurch Street, a lift will transport guests up to the property’s 14th floor. On the right will be a grab-and-go Deli, open weekdays from 9-5pm, which will serve sandwiches, artisan salads and freshly baked cakes, cookies and tarts.
As diners enter the restaurant through a double set of doors, the eye will be drawn to an oval onyx bar in the centre of the room, which will stay open until 1.30am on Fridays and Saturdays. An extensive cocktail menu aims to make the bar a destination in its own right for classics and signature serves.
The restaurant – headed up by Thomas Piat, formerly Executive Chef at Daniel Boulud’s, Bar Boulud – will provide panoramic views of the city.
Award-winning international designer Robert Angell has created a lush garden style interior, bringing the outdoors in. The restaurant will have a canopy of evergreen plants and seasonal climbers growing across the ceiling, with shrubs and pergolas around the room creating intimate individual spaces.
