Bluebird‘s new home, Time Warner Centre, is a luxury retail, office and residential development at Columbus Circle, ideally situated adjacent to high end offices, theatres, hotels, Central Park and the Upper Westside Residential area.
The new restaurant Bluebird London, is designed by CetraRuddy, the team behind Sushi Samba in London and D&D’s highly successful 20 Stories in Manchester. Cetra Ruddy will put a bright and bold colour palette against a backdrop of Central Park views. A relaxed and stylish destination from breakfast to dinner, Bluebird will feature an all-day café seating 88, alongside a 102 cover restaurant, a private dining room and a bar & lounge.
A celebration of Modern dining in London and New York but with its firmly British roots, Bluebird London will create an international brasserie reflective of its two transatlantic homes. Helmed by Executive Chef Nicolas Houlbert, Bluebird’s menu will change with the seasons, with most food sourced from local and independent producers. Meanwhile, the drinks offering will be both from the US and Europe featuring cocktails, beers and wines including much-loved favourites from Chelsea.
“We are all incredibly excited about bringing Bluebird to New York – we could not have picked a more prime location and are delighted to be working with the team from Related,” says Chairman and Chief Executive, Des Gunewardena.
“Bluebird is quintessentially British, celebrated for its buzz, glamour and food in London, and we are thrilled to be bringing this to New York city.”
The September 2018 launch of Bluebird Time Warner in New York, will be followed by a second D&D London restaurant in the city’s spectacular Hudson Yards development, opening in 2019.
