William (Rob) Halter AIA, LEED AP – Rob joined Elkus Manfredi in 2005. He is a graduate of Kent State University, College of Architecture & Environmental Design with a Bachelor of Architecture and Science. Since joining the firm, Rob has worked on master planning projects in Detroit, Atlanta, and Santa Clara, and internationally in Istanbul, Montreal, and Sochi. His work on mixed-use projects includes planning and design for Hudson Yards in New York City, the residences at 333 Dorchester Avenue, and flagship retails stores for Neiman Marcus at Roosevelt Field, Long Island and Natick, Massachusetts, and a new Life Sciences Facility at 825 Summer Street in Boston. Most recently, Rob led the team for The St. Regis Residences, Boston. Rob has also been involved in the development of his community in Franklin, MA, as a volunteer serving on the Franklin School Building Committee overseeing the planning, design, and construction of the new Franklin High School and Athletic Complex.
Emily Paparella AIA, LEED AP, CPHC – Emily joined Elkus Manfredi in 2006. A multi-disciplinary architect, planner, and project leader, she received her Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida and her Master of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has overseen a wide variety of complex projects, where her skills in both the planning and architectural disciplines allow her to bring a broad perspective and wide range of creativity to every endeavor. Emily has led higher-education, residential, mixed-use, and renovation projects, most recently Simmons University’s One Campus Master Plan and design of the Living and Learning Center. Other projects Emily has overseen include the Lantera Residences at Boston Landing, Continuum at the gateway to Harvard University’s Allston campus, and renovations to Harvard University’s famed Peabody Terrace and Soldiers Field Park. Emily is deeply committed to furthering the professional interests of women in commercial real estate, and co-founded two networking and mentoring committees, one with CREW and the other with the Boston Society of Architects, both in support of the career development of women in commercial real estate.
