Gearing Media Group, publisher of trade titles Furniture News, Furniture Production and Hospitality Interiors, has agreed a media partnership with the Furniture Industry Research Association.
The partnership will mean a closer working relationship between the association and the publishing house, resulting in greater visibility for both, new opportunities for members of the association and greater access to information for readers of Gearing Media Group’s titles.
“We’ve been working closely alongside each other for many years,” says Paul Farley, editor of Furniture News, “but cementing an official media partnership will allow us to maximise the opportunities for sharing and broadcasting information. Combining the reach and popularity of our titles with the association’s expertise and heritage, this partnership will benefit the industry in general.”
Phil Reynolds, director of the Furniture Industry Research Association, comments: “We have built a good relationship with Gearing Media Group over the years, with regular contributions in its furniture trade titles. As a membership organisation which is funded by the furniture industry for the benefit of the industry, we hope that this partnership will help to further support and disseminate the work of the Association and the research projects it funds. We look forward to working together more closely as media partners.”
Established 60 years ago, the Furniture Industry Research Association is a not-for-profit membership-based organisation which offers its members market intelligence reports, representation, technical support and much more. Gearing Media Group has been established for over 30 years, and publishes leading magazines and websites for the following furniture sectors: domestic furniture (Furniture News); commercial hospitality spaces (Hospitality Interiors); and manufacturing machinery and components (Furniture Production).
