Australia 108 is an exhilarating new development, which has just received the go ahead, positioned within Melbourne’s most desirable arts, dining and entertainment precinct at 70 Southbank Boulevard.
Australia 108 has been created by the team that successfully delivered the iconic Eureka Tower, visionary architect firm Fender Katsalidis. Rising 108 floors and 388m, Australia 108 will be the tallest building in the southern hemisphere. The building is crowned by an 18 floor, yet-to-be-named six star hotel.
The striking two-storey Sky Lobby will extend 9m from the building in a star-form, some 84-storeys above Melbourne. There will also be glazed floor elements at the star points for those with an appropriate constitution. Also on the 84th floor is are the hotel’s two restaurants, two bars and lounge areas, the gym and a pool.
The other breathtaking feature of Australia 108 will be the glass enclosed Star Bar on level 108, suspended between pillars near the pinnacle of the building.
