Hi-Macs, the solid surfacing material from LG Hausys, has received European Technical Approvalcertification from the European Organisation for Technical Approvals.
Hi-Macs is the only solid surface material to receive the certification, which involves rigorous testing designed to harmonise European standard definitions on technical standards. The ETA certification is valid in all European Union countries.
Among the tests applied and passed by Hi-Macs are mechanical tests, fire performance, weather ability and ageing performance, leading to the final certification. The process covers a wide range of applications for external architectural application in construction projects and all public building facades.
