Coinciding perfectly with the company’s 30th anniversary in Thailand, Hilton Worldwide has today announced the opening of the Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok.
Situated just 300m from Phrom Phong skytrain station on Sukhumvit Soi 24, the hotel is ideally located for access to the city’s prime shopping and dining centres, as well as its major landmarks and tourist spots.
“For three decades, Hilton Hotels & Resorts has been one of the hotel brands of choice for visitors to Thailand,” says Rob Palleschi, global head of Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
“I’m delighted that our legacy continues as we officially add Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok to our existing portfolio of four properties located in key leisure and city destinations, including Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and Hua Hin.”
The design-led hotel boasts 280 spacious deluxe and executive rooms and suites, in addition to two speciality restaurants, Scalini and Mondo. The hotel’s main dining area, Scalini, offers a 1920’s Italian-American inspired menu and and features an interactive kitchen and pizza oven, while Mondo draws on Mediterranean influences, serving tapas and antipasto style dishes in a casual setting.
Besides its three impressive meeting spaces – equipped with a Bofi kitchen and state-of-the-art audiovisual technology – the hotel also has a fully-equipped Precor gym, and a striking rooftop infinity pool with sweeping views of Bangkok’s skylines.
