An industry leader in interior design, branding, and procurement services, Interior Image Group (IIG) is pleased to announce that Brooke Traeger-Tumsaroch has joined the firm as Studio Director and Principal, based in Indiana at IIG’s headquarters.
In her new role, Traeger-Tumsaroch will oversee all projects from concept to completion, while providing design leadership to the Indiana office. She will work closely alongside Patti Trishler, IIG’s CEO and Founder, as well as Leslie Schultz, Senior Vice President of Design, in assisting with the development and expansion of the IIG brand while ensuring each project achieves its full potential and profitability. Her client roster will include global brands such as Marriott International and Hilton Worldwide, in addition to other hotel companies.

Traeger-Tumsaroch brings a full suite of expertise to IIG – studio management, business development, and marketing, paired with a keen understanding of how to guide and mentor up-and-coming designers. She lends a unique perspective, having an impressive background of over 16 years of experience in the luxury hotel and F&B industries, and a proven track record of leading large-scale projects.
She previously served as Studio Leader and Associate Principal at ForrestPerkins where her main focus was launching the firm’s new Chicago office. Prior to her role at ForrestPerkins, she lived in Bangkok, where she worked as a Design Director at AvroKO, overseeing luxury hospitality and F&B interior design projects in Asia and the Middle East. In this role, she collaborated with brands such as the Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, Shangri-La, Rosewood, and Waldorf Astoria. Her most notable projects include the Rosewood Hotel Bangkok: Nan Bei Chinese Restaurant & Lennon’s Bar, Waldorf Astoria Bangkok: Bull & Bear Restaurant, Champagne Bar & Loft, Four Seasons Amman: La Capitale Restaurant, Palmer House Hilton, and Renaissance Arlington Capital View.

Traeger-Tumsaroch’s other notable career highlights include participating as a keynote speaker for the American Society of Interior Designers’ (ASID) National Student “Launch” Event in 2016 and serving as the Department Chair and faculty member for the Interior Design Program at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington D.C. Traeger-Tumsaroch is a NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer and holds an M.F.A. in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, as well as a B.A. in Fine Art from the University of Iowa.
