Brigadiers’ concept was developed by co-owners the Sethi family, and is inspired by their grandfather, an original Brigadier, and his 4th Gurkha Rifles ‘brigade’.
The restaurant’s interior was developed in collaboration with BradyWilliams Studio, and marries twenties design with the easy nature of a communal tavern.
Like any club, the space has been divided into numerous destinations, each with its own unique identity and experience of old world escapism.
The influence of the Brigadiers history is drawn out in the colour palette throughout; the ceremonial uniform inspired twill reds, boot polish greys and brass tones.
Each room houses carefully sourced design treasures, including family heirlooms, and bespoke furnishings.
The high-spirited atmosphere of the open spaces is complemented with exotic animal motifs, contrasting textures and bold pattern.
In contrast, the private dining rooms offer relished seclusion with decadent details, such as a custom cigar pipe wallpaper inspired by tabac stamps owned by the Sethi’s.
In a final fitting tribute, a large-portrait of the Sethi’s grandfather features above the fireplace in the main restaurant.
