Jumeirah Group has appointed Alison Broadhead as chief commercial officer. Alison is responsible for all sales, marketing and revenue activities across the company’s 22 hotels and other related businesses.
Based in Dubai and reporting to chief operating officer, Nicholas Clayton, Alison is tasked with driving Jumeirah’s commercial strategy, building profitable growth, increasing brand awareness and value, and leading an international sales and marketing team. She takes on responsibility for sales, marketing, revenue management and communications. Additional responsibilities include the company’s loyalty programme Sirius, its award-winning website and social media platforms, the management of the brand’s expansion into new markets and its strategic partnerships across the globe.
Alison has over 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, of which 15 were spent in the Asia Pacific region. Before joining Jumeirah, she had been working at Queenstown Resort College in New Zealand, and prior to this at Marriott International. While at Marriott, Alison held a number of senior international positions.
