Ciarán Lavery has been appointed head of technical services at leading mid-market hotel group, Jurys Inn. In this role, Ciarán will be responsible for the management of capital expenditure, new developments and refurbishment projects across the group.
Ciarán has over 16 years’ experience in project management and development. During this time, he worked as project manager at Steve Cunningham & Associates where he collaborated extensively with Jurys Inn Hotel Group on the design, construction and handover phases of its Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Chelsea, Heathrow and Exeter hotels, as well as project managing the ¬1m refurbishment of its Galway hotel.
In addition to his work within the hospitality sector, Ciarán has provided project and construction management services to airports, third level institutions, sports and recreational facilities and specialist office sites.
Jurys Inn employs approximately 2000 people across 32 hotels in Ireland, the UK and the Czech Republic, with 3,000,000 guests staying in its 7531 rooms every year.
