Jurys Inn Oxford has unveiled a brand new look following the completion of the first stage of a £10.8m investment.
During 2016, a full refurbishment has taken place of the 168 existing bedrooms, with an additional 72 bedrooms due to launch in December 2016.
New bedrooms feature the Jurys DREAM bed with detailing of Morris Minors on the walls, reflecting Oxford’s manufacturing heritage.
The new lobby has been completely transformed with a new colour palette of neutral shades and accents of turquoise, elegant soft furnishings, new floor coverings and there are now dedicated areas for guests to hold small meetings. There is also a new Costa Coffee.
The hotel has a new Conference Centre, again with a fresh new look and there has been significant investment in the technology throughout the meeting rooms.
The Centre includes 15 meeting and event spaces encompassing a dedicated boardroom with integrated power sockets for wireless meetings and new breakout areas with refrigerated drinks dispensers for refreshment breaks. The largest meeting room, the University Suite, accommodates 300 people.
Jurys Inn Oxford will also launch a new bar, a renovated Juvenate Health & Leisure Club and a new Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill in December 2016. The new restaurant will have 180 covers and will be available to hire for corporate events.
“We are excited to be re-launching Jurys Inn Oxford to the UK corporate market following the significant investment into the hotel and the team are really proud of the new event spaces and the new look bedrooms,” says GM of Jurys Inn Oxford, Chris Broderick. “We’re looking forward to event buyers visiting the hotel and using the new meeting spaces.”
